The structure features ionic columns that suggest the Lake Forest Hospital entrance. On the steps appears a timeline highlighting Lake Forests’ major milestones during the President’s tenure, built upon the first step: Lake Forest Hospital Values. Photos, news articles and actual memorabilia chronicle the President’s career and favorite memories. The intricate weaving of actual 3-dimensional items, such as a miniature drum, model helicopter, stethoscope and eyeglasses, offers a fascinating texture and authenticity. A dedication plaque appears on an actual hospital brick at the top of the stairs.
